Winners Announced “Women Of Team ProTorque” Breast Cancer Awareness Drawing

ProTorque is happy to announce an addition to our website and Facebook Fan Page. We have started a gallery of pictures featuring “The Women Of Team ProTorque ” wearing ProTorque gear. This gallery was inspired by Kelly Lynch and others who were sending us pictures of themselves in our gear. We thought it would be a great way to honor our team mates, fans and friends as well as raise a few dollars for breast cancer research and support to turn the creation of this gallery into an event. The fundraising was in two parts. One part allowed anyone to make a direct donation to the National Breast Cancer Research Foundation through a link we set up and posted on our website and Facebook Fan Page, the second part was a donation by ProTorque to “Men Against Breast Cancer” in the names of drawing winners. The drawing was based on the pictures submitted to ProTorque for inclusion in the Gallery during the month of October. The winners of the drawing were Kat Caldwell, Katie Gilbert and Robin Whiteford-Gantt; each of these ladies received a $50 gift certificate to Victoria’s Secret and a $50 donation made in their name to “Men Against Breast Cancer” an organization that helps men help the women they love deal with the issues of this devastating illness. It is ProTorque’s intention to continue to sponsor activities and fund raisers throughout the year, spotlighting members of our teams, charities that are near and dear to the hearts of our team members, and the fun and sheer joy of the sport of drag racing..
