John Schroeder Wins US Nationals Outlaw 632 Class X3

John Schroeder wins US Nationals Outlaw 632 class THREE YEARS IN A ROW! That is amazing and what many people don’t know about John Schroeder is that he is one of our oldest and dearest customers. And what many of you don’t know is that car has some SERIOUS HISTORY with the ProTorque Product line development. This car owned by John for the last 11 years was originally owned by our good friend and well known racing legend Leo Barnaby (who sadly passed several years ago).

This car was one of the very first development cars back when we started in the racing game back in the early days. And after all this time this car continues to dominate his class. Winning the US nationals THREE years in a row! This car has a long list of wins all over the country in many classes. We are proud to be working with this car for so long and still dominating the classes with the ProTorque brand winning multiple races and multiple championships year after year.

John Schroeder ran through the Outlaw 632 field with a string of mid-low 4.50’s in his Scotty’s Racing Engines powered 2002 Camaro. His opponent was number eight qualifier Dillon Voss driving the families 1994 Thunderbird. Voss did his job on the tree with a .030 reaction but Schroeder drove by with a 4.537 at 157 to Voss’ 4.681 at 152. Photo courtesy Bryan Epps.
