Outlaw Drag Radial Class, ProTorque Converters Dominate By The Numbers

The Outlaw Street Car Reunion:

Battle of the States event that took place this past weekend at Memphis International Raceway showed a number of things – that eighth-mile racing is alive and well, and that our friends at Pro Torque are on the edge of development in the insane Outlaw Drag Radial class.

How so, you ask? Well, take into account that many of the top performances of the weekend were achieved with Pro Torque torque converters onboard. Kevin Mullins topped the ladder with a 4.11 with Rob Valden just behind him at 4.12. DeWayne Mills clicking off a 4.13, and Keith Berry’s LSX ‘Vette in the mix also at 4.14 to place Pro Torque in the bellhousing of four of the lowest ET’s in drag radial history.
